Each homesite has water, electricity, septic drain fields, telephone and cable already in place.
All homesite owners have beach access. There is a walking path to the beach that crosses two walking bridges and passes by over 30 different plant species, making the walk to the beach a pleasantly “experiential.” (See April 2006 News and Events for landscaping plan details.)
Salmonberry Beach has a small fresh water pond that will be kept full year around and several shallow winter ponds that will be full only during the rainy season. These ponds serve to attract a variety of birds to the property.
Over 6 acres of land will be owned in common by the homesite owners. Over 1,040 plants (mostly native species that are drought tolerant and deer resistant) have been planted in the common area to provide visual interest and to offer some privacy to the individual home sites. The open grassy common areas are ideal for volleyball, croquet, bocce ball, baseball, Frisbee, lacrosse and football games.
The Pickle Ball court near the center of the property is available to all homesite owners.
Salmonberry Beach has an automated slide gate at the entrance with keypad, telephone, and radio remote entry. There is also a keypad-activated pedestrian gate at the entrance.
